1. Do I need a fishing license?
It depends on where we're fishing. In most areas, you're covered under the boat's license. However, if we're fishing in Everglades National Park Boundaries you need to purchase your own license. We'll let you know in advance. Florida Fishing License Link
2. What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing sunscreen (lotion), a hat, polarized sunglasses, a light rain jacket, snacks, and water. We’ll provide all the fishing gear you need unless you’d prefer to use your own.
3. What gear is provided?
We supply all necessary rods, reels, lures, flies, leaders, and tippet. If you have a favorite setup, feel free to bring it.
4. I’m a beginner. Can I still book a trip?
Absolutely! Our trips are great for anglers of all skill levels. We love introducing newcomers to the sport and will tailor the experience to your level.
5. How long are the trips?
We offer half-day (4 hours), three-quarter day (6 hours), and full-day (8 hours) trips. Custom durations may be available upon request. click here to contact your guide!
6. What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If we need to cancel due to weather, we’ll either reschedule or provide a full refund. Light rain usually doesn’t cancel a trip.
7. Where do we meet for the charter?
We’ll send you the exact launch location and time after booking. Pickup points can vary depending on tides and weather. Florida Boat Ramp Finder
8. Can I keep the fish I catch?
We practice catch and release to protect fish populations and preserve the sport. If you’re interested in keeping a fish, please ask in advance—regulations vary.
9. Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Fly fishing trips make great gifts. Contact us to purchase a customizable gift certificate.
10. Is tipping the guide expected?
Tips are never required but always appreciated. A typical tip ranges from 15–20% of the trip cost.
11. Can kids come on the trip?
Yes, kids are welcome! Just let us know their ages ahead of time so we can ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone.
12. What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations due to weather or unsafe conditions will be fully refunded or rescheduled.
